COURSE OVERVIEW:

The ITIL 4 Specialist: Monitor, Support and Fulfil combined practice module is for IT professionals aiming to establish a good cross-practice collaboration and effective service value streams.

The individuals can demonstrate their understanding and application of the concepts covered in the five ITIL Management Practices at both strategic and operational levels maximizing value from these Practices. These are namely: ITIL 4 Incident Management Practice, ITIL 4 Service Desk Practice, ITIL 4 Service Request Management Practice, ITIL 4 Monitoring and Event Management Practice, and ITIL 4 Problem Management Practice.

ITIL 4 Specialist: Monitor, Support and Fulfil enables professionals to:

  • Define the key concepts, principles, value and challenges of ITIL 4’s five management practices
  • Ensure stakeholders understand the strategic and operational requirements to co-create value and achieve business goals
  • Integrate the practices in the organization’s value streams
  • Understand the interfaces and synergies across these five practices
  • Apply metrics and practice success factors to improve performance
  • Measure, assess and develop the capability of the various practices covered by using the ITIL Maturity Model.

For this course you are required to have successfully attained your ITIL 4 Foundation certificate in IT Service Management OR ITIL 4 Managing Professional Transition Certificate. You will need to provide us with a copy of your certificate upon registration in order to be admitted into this course.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This course is aimed at individuals in management and service management roles who have a responsibility for the above noted practices as well as individuals who want to acquire the ITIL Managing Professional (MP) designation.
Roles may include:
IT managers, practitioners and support staff involved in the strategy, design, and implementation and on-going support and delivery of business IT services.

EXAM AND CERTIFICATION

  • The exam is administered by PeopleCert.
  • The exam is 90 minutes in duration, includes 40 multiple-choice questions and is administered online by an independent examination body. Participants are provided with an exam voucher so they can schedule the exam at their convenience on any date after completion of the course.
  • A passing mark of 70% is required to receive certificate. An exam review is included in the course to help prepare attendees for the final exam.
