The ITIL 4 ITAM Practice Module is structured and aligned around the ITIL framework. The examination assesses whether the candidate demonstrates sufficient understanding and application of the concepts covered in the ITIL 4 ITAM Practice publication, including processes, roles, value streams, and capability assessment.

The module covers the following aspects of Incident Management:

  • The key concepts of the practice.
  • The processes of the practice.
  • The roles and competencies of the practice.
  • How information and technology support and enable the practice.
  • The role of partners and suppliers in the practice.
  • How the ITIL capability model can be used to develop the practice.
  • Recommendations for practice success.

Exam Format
The ITIL ® 4 PM: ITAM exam format is as follows:

  • Multiple choice format.
  • 20 questions per paper.
  • 65% required to pass (13 out of 20).
  • 30 minutes duration.
  • Closed book.

  • ITIL ® 4 Foundation.
