PMI® Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)® Exam Prep Training
Agile Certified Practitioner Certification PMI-ACP is a fastest catching up Agile Certification advocated by PMI. This is said to be a one-in-all Agile Certification that encompasses the overall umbrella of Agile practices knowledge and understanding for all the roles in Project Management. As agile is also a set of methodologies, frameworks and practices, the PMI-ACP® certification tests you on the multiple aspects and does not restrict to any particular role (like Product Owner, Agile Coach, Scrum Master, etc. The PMI-ACP spans many approaches to agile such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, extreme programming (XP) and test-driven development (TDD.) As per the revised course outline effective March 2018, the PMI-ACP® examination tests you in the following domains:
- Agile Principles and Mindset, Iteration Planning, Iteration Review, Estimation.
- Introduction to Scrum, User stories.
- Briefing About Lean, Kanban, XP.
- Value-driven Delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement.
- Team Performance, Communication, Governance.
- Adaptive Planning.
- Problem Detection and Resolution.
- Continuous Improvement (Product, Process, People).
To earn the PMI-ACP certification, you must meet the experience and education requirements, and pass the PMI-ACP exam, a 120-question, multiple-choice test.
- Secondary degree.
- 21 contact hours of training in agile practices.
- 12 months of general project experience within the last 5 years. A current PMP® or PgMP® will satisfy this requirement but is not required to apply for the PMI-ACP and 8 months of agile project experience within the last 3 years.
